When the final project was first assigned to our group, we decided to immediately brainstorm on some ideas that our relevant to what is required from it. We were quite ambitious at first as in to make a larger scale database for a large business, such as a supermarket or a sports store. But in the end, we decided to scale down and go for either a salon, shipping service or a news outlet. We found that making a database for a salon is much more doable than the rest, plus we could attribute most of the time emphasizing on the details. The group members for this project are Monique Senjaya, Jason Jeremy Wijadi, and Christopher Tendi. We decided to code a web app and it will be called Sigma Salon! Sigma Salon is a web app designed to manage a pseudo salon database. The database contains 7 tables in order to store data on customers, staff, services, appointments, salary, appointments branch and person. The application will be created using Python using the Flask module and MySQL as the DBMS.
